The task of this project is to list 7 Color Contrast from the book
"The Elements of Color" by Johannes Itten, and to chose 3 different types of color contrast. The 3 types of color contrast that I chose are:
1. LightDark
2. ColdWarm
3. Saturation 1.Light-Dark
Itten is talking about the contrast that is all around us, the most real contrast of light and dark, and that is reversing of day and night. The only two colours for him that have the real contrast in light and dark are black and white, and on one painting we can have just one pure white and just pure black, and all others are shades of grey as he says which depends on the viewers eye, and how he feels the painting, contrast, and colour between. As we are talking about the grey, it is very important for shading, because it is independent, but that second when u add colour to it, grey loses it and it is becoming something else. It can be made from different colours, the most usual that everyone uses is mixing black and white and coordinating the intensity of the grey, but we can also use yellow, blue, red, white, or any other complementary colours. Gray in any colour is taken in 12 steps, in middle we have ˝the colour˝ and on the first and last step we have white or black, and till the end we are shrinking the amount of the colour, so it would end with white and black. Beside painting there is some more techniques of lightdark, such as wood cutting, or in China or Japan it is writing.

(blue), and other was placed in room with warm color (red), and the effect was different, the cold color was calming down the animals,
