Technological Integration for Progress
Kudler Fine Foods (“The Company ') has experienced impressive growth over the past few years and it has become apparent that a custom software package that integrates real time inventory with real time financial data. Associates, CPAs , at The Company 's request, have evaluated several aspects of the The Company, including but not limited to financial statements, inventory management systems and interdepartmental communication needs, to determine the main focuses of the new customized software. In addition to a more efficient software package, The Company will need to evaluate their current hardware to ensure that a software upgrade will be compatible with the existing systems.
Needs versus Limitations
In order to align more closely with The Company 's desire to continually maintain a customer service level of 95% , according to the Kudler Fine Foods (2013) website, The Company will need to redesign ordering and tracking of inventories. Under the current system, there are several limitations that could be made more efficient with minimal training and changes to processing. Additionally, by reducing limitations to fully satisfy The Company 's needs there is the potential to increase customer satisfaction to 97% within the first year of implementation.
When The Company operated with only one location, the current method of ordering to inventory par levels was sufficient, but at the business grew the method did not change. The current system does not effectively met The Company 's need to pay the best price with the optimal level of inventory for all locations. While management is required to verify quantities and pricing between locations, this can be a time consuming and costly practice. Creating a customized software package that generates a single order to each vendor will allow inventory and pricing optimization. This system should also have the capability

The implementation of the new industry software will enable the company to keep a better record system for the products they currently provide. The new software will allow the company to dive into more internet based transactions. Kudler will not be able to not only see what the inventory levels look like at the other locations but they will be able to make supply orders while keeping track of what has been ordered and the cost associated with those orders. This will eliminate the need for employees to constantly track the inventory in each location. Time, manpower and money will all be saved with this implementation. The use of the new system should be maintained by the accounting department. “As a business grows, the approval of purchases shifts predominantly to individuals within the accounting department” (Market Platform Dynamics, 2007). This will allow for multiple orders to be processed at one time thusly saving the company money based upon the volume to be purchased and guarantee the correct products go to the correct locations. This system will most definitely cut down on the errors that were previously done when everything was manually done by employees. The new software will provide an avenue that should lead Kudler Fine Foods into the market as a force to be reckoned…

The academic library is also an organization within a larger organization. I found an early description by Scott and Davis matched my vision of an organization perfectly, “a social structure created by individuals to support the collaborative pursuit of specified goals” (2007, p. 11).…
