My Career is Police Dog Handler. A Police Dog Handler, or K-9 Unit, is a unit in the police force that does specialized police work. They track down suspects, search for missing people, illegal drugs, explosives, and stop a crime in progress. The Freedom Service Dogs of America is a foundation full of great people willing to donate their time for an amazing charitable body.
