MECHANICS:
TABLE DECORATION
Each section shall be provided with a long table from the library (approximately 1mx2.5m) to decorate within the given preparation time for the competition.
The general design shall be anchored in this year’s Christmas theme: White Christmas.
Materials to be used shall depend upon the class’ choice; the materials shall not necessarily be recycled nor shall be indigenous in nature.

DUET COMPETITION
Each year level shall have one pair consisting of a male and a female. Both sections shall be represented accordingly.
The pair shall prepare an English or Filipino Christmas love song of choice. The song shall be rendered within 3-4 minutes.
Before the program proper, a representative shall submit a soft copy of the song’s minus one together with three copies of the song’s lyrics.

CHRISTMAS CAROL
Each year level shall be represented by a carol of 15-20 members each.
The song “Carol of the Bells” shall be the main song to be performed. Medleys, mash-ups and other modifications are allowed as long as the prescribed main song will play dominant.
The song shall be rendered within 5-6 minutes.
Use of musical instruments (strings, percussions, winds, etc.) shall not be allowed.
Only non-musical items such as boxes, cans, and plastic containers shall be accepted to be played in the entire performance. “Tunog tao” is also allowed.
Note: Microphones for each voice shall not be provided.

CHRISTMAS LANTERN
Each section shall create a Christmas Lantern 3 ft high and 2 sq ft wide using recyclable and/or indigenous materials. The shape of the lantern is not limited to any of the basic shapes.

Use of open fire (e.g. candle lights), kerosene lamps and other flammable items shall not be allowed. Use of flashlights, spotlights and the like are suggested instead.
Judging of the lanterns shall commence when the lights are readily visible.
A 3 minute presentation shall be given by each chosen class
