B. Sally proved to everyone that if you put your mind to it, anything is possible. Encouraged girls to pursue their careers in science.…
In Science, she made learning fun. She spent countless hours preparing lab materials (and I’m sure spent a lot of her own money) before school and on her breaks to be sure we were able to have as many hands-on-experiences as possible. Until seventh grade, Science was my least favorite…

Finally, her level of professionalism is magnificent. I find it extra impressive because she has a lot of academic problems to discuss and yet she is very careful not to cross that line. She says out loud what she is aloud to say, and keeps to herself of keeps to private conversation with the student what needs to be kept to a private conversation. That is where her leadership and collaboration come into play as well.…
Everyone knows that one person who never seems to lose their cool or give up. My seventh grade teacher, Mrs. Shoemaker, was that person who never seemed to lose it. She taught many students who created a plethora of stress and heartache. Additionally, she helped me understand and finish hair-pulling assignments.…

The most influential person in my science and math career is Miss Landis. Before my sixth grade year, I only saw science as a subject where I would memorize the night before, take the test, and forget everything I studied. However, Miss Landis made science come to life. Science was like the ocean. When I only studied it to take my tests, it seemed like a massive tsunami that crashed down on my brain and left damage in the form of sleep deprivation. After I was taught by Miss Landis, science acted like the rolling waves, constantly connecting concepts together so that it would gently flow and build up as I learned more.…
The teacher that has had the most impact on me is Mrs. Carrie, better known as Mrs. “Cool Cat” Carrie. Mrs. Carrie was my second grade teacher. I don’t think I knew at the time how great she was at her job, but looking back it isn’t hard to see. Mrs. Carrie was creative in her lessons and clearly loved her job.…
Any time that we wanted to ask questions about something she was talking about, she would tell us to wait until after class to ask her. We didn't have any open discussions or class debates about a topic. We never got to hear other people's opinions, which was troublesome because there are a lot of debatable topics in environmental science. When we got to the section about global warming, I got excited because I thought that she would finally have a class debate. I got disappointed when I walked in and saw a TV in the front of the room. We watched Bill Gates' movie about global warming, which was the only thing we did for the whole topic of global warming. Due to the lack of open discussion about topics, I felt that everything we learned was…

What grade were you in? The teacher I choose to write about is a High School educator whose name is Mrs. Wright. I had her from my sophomore through my senior year. She was the resource teacher for these grades. I have test anxiety, have has it since I was a young child, and she could get me through without having a panic attack or having to go to the ladies room to puck. This woman was always there to support me while I work through the good and tough times in school no matter what it was. A kindhearted woman, that truly cared, no matter who you were, and what problem you may be facing. She always put a smile on your face and happiness in your heart. She always assisted me when I needed it or if I did not grasp something, she would make…

Mother Teresa stated, “Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are endless.” It was those kind words that I remember from each individual teacher I had growing up. I remember spending countless hours learning with different techniques from different teachers. I’ll never forget Mrs. Marie Simcoe, for she was that kind voice echoing endlessly. She was my kindergarten teacher. I remember always wanting to help her and to be just like her. She was kind hearted and soft spoken. She taught with care and did everything she could to get her students to understand without a word of frustration.…
During this journey, I have met many teachers in 6th grade through 8th grade. I am very thankful to these teachers because they have thought me many important aspects of life that will always remember. I also had met some of my elementary teachers Mrs. Rinaldi and Mrs. Salerno that helped me fit in the middle school.…
Everyone has that one teacher that they admired so much or made an enormous difference in their life. My teacher would have to be my high school orchestra teacher; his name is mr----. He helped me become a much better musician. Whenever I was struggling with a piece of music, he would take his time to help me in that section. With all his help, I became such a good player that I was placed as first chair for two years in a row! Of course, being first chair and all, you have to be a good leader to lead the section. At first, it was something that I struggled with, but Mr. Carpenter helped me do that as well by telling me how to handle many different situations.…
