11 May 2016 Animal Cloning
Have you ever wondered what exactly animal cloning is or how it works but never got around to it? Well animal cloning can help with many things that could change how we see our planet. But it could also ruin things and cause many problems in the future. Today I will be persuading you about the disadvantages of animal cloning by, first, telling you what could go wrong when cloning an animal, second, telling you why we should not bring back some extinct animals, and finally, I will tell you why it is so expensive and dangerous to clone animals. Even though we have successfully cloned cats, dogs, sheep, pigs, and many more. Those clones took a lot of time and a lot of money, but so many failures to finally have an end product (?Advantages and Disadvantages of Cloning?).

When trying to clone just one animals it takes up to thousands of embryos and several pregnancies only to produce one clone. This happened when scientist created the first cloned pet dog named Snuppy. Snuppy took one thousand embryos, three pregnancies, and finally one pregnancy was successful and Snuppy was born (Arnold; ?What Are the Ricks??). Why do I know better than my opponent? Well because of the cloned animal?s short life span, many meat companies are having a hard time commercializing the cloned meats because people fear there is something wrong with the cloned animals and that it could cause problems for those who eat their meat. Extinct animals are extinct for a reason. Just think of all the things that could go wrong. Those animals such as the wooly mammoth and the sabre tooth tiger, if we were to bring them back it would be chaos. It would take too much money and too much time that we probably don?t have to successfully
