Setting up a reward for donating to charity is not necessarily a bad thing. For instance, it might encourage people to donate more, even when there is no reward associated. In my school, instead of offering grades as a reward, we offer a pizza party, or something similar, and most of the time sends back pictures of the charity receiving the donations, encouraging us to donate more. And even though there is not a reward, some people keep on donating to the same charity just because it is the right thing to do.
