Webster University History
Webster university is one of the top universities in missouri that teaches architecture. Believe it or not it has been around 100 years since they started education in St. Louis. Not only do they have a campus in St. Louis but they also have a campuses in Irvine and Sein Diego California. They also have military campuses, online courses, and campuses around the world. They have had many famous people go on and become alumni for Webster university such as Nikki Boyer all the way to Eileen Collins to Tony Richardson even to Marvin Abney. The Webster university mission is that “Webster University, a worldwide institution, ensures high quality learning experiences that transform students for global citizenship and individual excellence.” .

And i belive that it truely shows in there history webster universiy has been opened since 1915 and was founded by by Sisters of Loretto, a Catholic religious organization, Webster College (originally named Loretto College) was one of the first Catholic women's colleges west of the Mississippi River. It provided higher education to women. IT further opened its door in 1962 with a limited number of classes for men. Then in 1966 Webster offered its first courses at a campus in kansas city missouri. then in 1967 thes sisters of loretto transfered ownership of the college from the catholic church to a lay

In the 1970’s webster expanded its location to meteropolitan campuses, corporate sites, and additional military installations. in 1978 Webster opened a campus in Geneva, Switerzaland offering a flxible americant-style education. In 1983 the renamed webster university created five distinct schools and colleges. They are a leader in online learning and they started offering online courses in 1999. Today they are known for their robust online and traditional classroom learning
