I can change the world
I can change the world
If this was a movie, there would be superheros to change the world. But this is reality and it's up to me. A whole bunch of things are happening around the world. But do you pay attention to what is happening TO our world? Our world is going chaos with this " end of the world" stuff. EARTH IS HERE TO STAY. The only thing that's affecting the world is us, the people. We are the ones causing violence by killing each other and bringing hate on another.
Everyday our loved ones are passing away for no reason.
I can give you a whole list of things that are happening. Right now , there are kids dying of hunger. There's people all over the world waking up to a day of misery. There are innocent children getting raped and killed. Wives can't concentrate on what they're doing because of the pain they feel from the abuse that they receive from their husbands. Last night, at least one family has experienced abuse from a drunk man. Another thing is drunk people causing car crashes & getting into accidents causing peoples bodys to rip apart & making them die a painful death. Not only people are experincing these things, but so are animals. There are dogs out there getting killed in gambled fights for money and entertainment. Female dogs are getting forced to breed and are getting abused while doing it. Somewhere in the world, animals are feeding on one another. Hard working men and women are getting killed & robbed for the money they make. Teenagers are trying so hard to committ suicide because of all the hate & bullying they receive. Lovers are splitting apart & are causing physical pain so they can forget about the heartbreak. Children are sneaking out & running away while their parents are laughing about the abuse they give to their children. People in other countries are in war and watching their loved ones dying from all the bombs & explosions. Everywhere someone is expercing some sort of pain caused by another person. What are these people and creatures doing to deserve this. NOTHING, RIGHT? Nobody really pays attention to all the negative things that are happening to our world. Nobody should have to go through this life and live like this. People are suppose to develop peace with each other & help each other out. Not murder each other & bring hate on one another. My opinion is that everybody should be treated fairly.
People should receive serious consequences for all this violence they bring to our world. There's not much that I can do to stop everybody's actions. But I can control my own actions. Today, right now, I pledge to bring peace to my school,my community,my city, & most importantly, OUR WORLD. Thank you..

Many people see or hear about tragedies around the world; however, few actually do something about it. People seem to think that the news, itself, will fix the problem. This idea is incorrect according to John Swift and T. Coraghessan Boyle. Both authors propose solutions that are ironic and abstractly forward and blunt for a problem in their lives.…

The movie is truly an eye opener. It tells us that while we have not yet suffered the same fate as those in the movie, we can still try to prevent and hopefully remedy the situation. We can start with ourselves and maybe move on to the larger communities. Big businesses play a big role in our environment. If they were to pollute, expect pollution to come out in huge amounts. But if they were to become responsible and take the fate of the world into account, if they were to do their best to fight pollution and go green, we may actually see concrete…

“We cannot empower another, because to presume to do so removes the element of choice” (Burkhardt & Nathaniel, 2008, p. 471). Although nurses may not be able to empower patients, they can, through the process of empowerment, enable patients to speak up. Nurses can help patients develop an awareness of areas that need change and support the desire to take action. Approaching a patient as an equal partner allows for collaboration and aids in communication which is necessary to facilitate the empowerment process. Nurses should remember to avoid imposing personal values on their patients. Sometimes it is difficult for nurses to relinquish control and accept decisions patients make for themselves. Nurses can shift the power to the patient by focusing on the patient’s self-determined needs. “Improving a person’s ability to understand and manage his or her own health and disease, negotiate with different cadres of health professionals, and navigate the complexities of health is crucial to achieving better health outcomes” ("Patient empowerment," 2012, p. 650).…

The most current case has been the horrible civil war between the Syrian government and Arab Spring protests. And to just top the already abominable war, the ISIS are destroying villages, torturing children, holding people hostage, and cutting heads of news reporters. The thought of these acts happening as a daily routine, makes most definitely me feel sick. It’s not just the ISIS running about as they will murdering their own people that makes innocent people flee, it’s the fear and hunger which drives them to the breaking point. Even if we were to stop the massive amount of destruction, bombings and burnings, Syria wouldn’t be the same country as it was before the war. The population of Syria would still be haunted by hunger, wounds and the fear and sorrow that lie as a fog around the country. It would take years of rebuilding broken cities, and Syria would still be as wounded as it is now. There would be millions of people without a home, and with scars so deep that not even the renewed chance of a life would heal…

There are so many innocent animals that die or are killed for no reason. It seems like the people who are doing these acts are out of their mind. Animals don't speak like humans or might not have the correct defensive skills to protect themselves, but they do have a heart and feelings. They can feel pain just as much as we can. Suppose you were an animal who was facing abuse and there was nothing you could do. You can’t even scream because after the screams go unheard, they become unnecessary and it’s not like you can put your hands up or run and grab a phone to call for help; you are…
