3. What are the instruments found in a standard rhythm section?
The instruments in the rhythm section include at least one chord instrument, one bass instrument, and one percussion instrument. The chord instrument can be of two types: strummed and keyboard. Bass instruments include tuba, string bass, electric bass, and synthesizer bass. Finally, the principal percussion instrument is the drum set.

It played an important role during the development of popular music since the original work included, marches, solos featuring the band’s virtuoso instrumentalists, symphonic poems, program music and the popular music of the day kept gathering multitudes all across the country .
