This might get off topic, but i just wanted to share some earlier drafts that i might want to revise to make it sound better. For instance my service learning interview summary, i wish i revised it better. I interviewed Amanda Williams, my older sister. Amanda has volunteered a lot in her childhood, till this day. She has volunteered at FACETS, a non profit agency whose mission I to decrease and eliminate homeliness, for the past seven years, she’s volunteered at Mt. Vernon nursing and Rehabilitation center with the elder, and at the David R. Pinn Community Center. As you can see Amanda enjoys volunteering for her community, she’s very experienced when it comes to volunteering because she has done this since she was 12 or 13. Amanda has faced many challenges when it comes to volunteering, but he not only strives for her goal, but she achieves more than is expected. Just like Amanda I didn’t finish my 5 hours, and that was it, after completing my 5 hours, I did an extra 3 hour because I enjoyed helping others in the community. In other words, most people would of refused to ever go back to sunrise and assume some teachers, don’t expect students to do 10 or 11 hour, but I loved volunteering some much that I decided to more than was expected.
My reflection on the impact it gave me. For the past few weeks I’ve been volunteering at Sunrise senior Living Center, where I played bridge, bingo with senior citizens. The impact that I gave to the director activities and the senior citizen, was an impact most could have found hard to do. I made the senior citizens feel, like leaders, I made sure that anytime I go to Sunrise; I would help the elderly with all their needs. Not only did I help them with bingo and entertained them with bridge, I’ve also participated in car wash for Alzheimer’s disease. I obviously made an impact in cleaning car, but as a group, I think that we impacted the way adults think of teenagers. We not only washed cars from tire to roof, but we
