10 Things I Hate About You Character Analysis

The fable, "The Wolf in Sheep's Clothing" and the movie "10 Things I Hate About You" share the theme Appearances can be deceiving by presenting a character in which they act a certain way, but are really not what they seem to be. Specifically, the scene where Patrick Verona(Heath Ledger) the bad-boy of the school tries to woo and impress the rebellious Kat(Katerina) Stratford(Julia Stiles) in hopes of her agreeing to go out with him and take her to prom. Which she does and eventually falls for him, only to later find out that he was just doing it for money. She felt betrayed, much like how the lamb might of felt in her last seconds of life when she realized that the sheep, she thought she belonged to was actually a grisly wolf. The movie I
