10 Year Reunion Research Paper
In order to be successful by 10 years reunion I must follow through with the goals I need to accomplish to be successful by the reunion. The most important stepping stone for me to achieve is to finish high school and getting a diploma. As evidence of this the requirement for being a chef and a game designers is a high school diploma. This shows that all I need to do get a job involving both careers which allows me to reach my goal. Instead of working at a job I don’t like wishing I would have followed my dream job. Another example is most jobs required a high school diploma when in 10 years I should be involved in a job that’s part of career I want. In other words, in 10 years I should have my own restaurant or my own gaming …show more content…
This means providing everyone with a healthy and good meal instead of eating greasy food. Another example is being a chef I can provide jobs for people who needs it and teach them how to cook instead of always going out to eat. In other words stopping people from eating all that fast food and eat healthy. To conclude being a chef you can give unlimited jobs for people all over and giving people second chance a life for all the people who have a bad background and a criminal history. Knowing what you know about careers today, what are your greatest strengths in today's job market? My greatest strength in today's job markets is admitting when I need help and being a fast learning. As evidence of this the text states ''Not taking yourself too seriously, admitting when you don’t know stuff and asking for help''. In other words I'm being honest about what I can & cant do instead on lying about it. This means I don’t have to cover up my lies and trying to cover up my mistakes the whole time I'm working with them. Also I'm good with working with others and coming up with back up

I have many strengths as well as areas to grow in, some of them overlap as both a strength and an area of growth. One of my strengths is trying hard to get any job put in front of me done no matter what it may be. Another is the inability to say no to anything someone asks me to do such as pick up a shift at work or can you help them at home. This one is as much an area of growth as it is a strength. Some areas of growth that I am focusing on improving include being more patient and not speaking too much.…

These accomplishments will allow me to express at my 10 year reunion my utter happiness with life. I will be able to say that I am proud of myself and my life accomplishments. I will write about meeting my beautiful wife and falling in love. I will express the joy I gained through adopting underprivileged children and making them a part of my family. Another personal accomplishment that I hope to express at my 10 year reunion would be that I am openly accepted by my family. I want to be able to say that through helping gay and lesbian youth feel comfortable as themselves, that I became comfortable with my own self.…

The other aspects of my job that fall into my strength set are the analytical component, and being able to tie together more complex processes, and finally just been able to naturally stay on top of things and account for everything that on my plate. I’m very results oriented and want to get stuff done. Finally, being able to read decently and comprehend what it is saying, you wouldn’t really associate the titles I hold with an Daycare, but there are unspoken aspects of the job that is very nicely with my lazy butt lifestyle. Actually, it’s miserable, but the point is I’m more okay with being alone and having nothing to do than most people, also I, am exceptionally patient, so I can hold down my sanity longer than others could in the same…

Sometimes it is hard to identify one’s own personal strengths, for this reason I surveyed friends, family, and colleagues to get their opinions. The responses I received highlighted such qualities as perseverance, drive, dedication, commitment, patience, communicative skills, and endurance. I discovered some personal strengths and weaknesses during my volunteer experience at A Better Tomorrow Education. My volunteer time was spent in a middle school setting to determine if working with children would be a good fit for me.…

Being a Chef is harder than what it may seem and especially a chef who has to run a full kitchen as well. It is time demanding and a very hectic profession to be in but it is also a career I am very interested to be in. I love cooking and preparing exotic meals. There is an endless possibility of recipes that can be combined and put together to make a fantastic creation and it is when I am at the happiest. A chef must know a few of the basics of cooking like what ingredients can be mixed, what flavors growth each other and pretty much a brief knowledge about all the cuisines in the world to excel. It is important for chefs to keep evolving every day to stay on top and know about the current foods trending and most of all know more insight about the calories in the meal being prepared and the nutritional value. Despite having a general knowledge about cooking a chef also needs to have some basic culinary training as well. Chefs who attend culinary school are also trained to cook and manage a kitchen as well in maintain books and inventory.…

The culinary arts are open to anyone who loves food, cooking, and a challenge. Although the majority of chefs are men, women are gaining master chef status, which is the highest level they can achieve in culinary arts according to the American Culinary Federation (Donovan 1 and 18). This achievement comes after meeting strict requirements for experience, education, competition, and passing an exam. A chef must be skilled in cooking, baking, presentation, cold foods, and nutrition while working in various conditions (Donovan 18). Many kitchens have modern equipment, convenient work areas, and air conditioning. Older places may have marginally equipped and ventilated kitchens. Working conditions also depend on the type and quantity of food being prepared and local laws governing food operations (Donovan 18). A chef requires stamina as he must stand, lift heavy pots, pans, and kettles, and work near hot ovens and ranges (Chmelynski 47). Many chefs have earned fame for themselves and the places where they work due to their skills, but how did they get there? Cooking is a profession that emphasizes continuous learning. An increasing number of chefs are obtaining initial training through high school or post high school programs. Although a high school diploma is not required for beginning jobs in the culinary arts, it is highly recommended for a career as a chef (Chmelynski 25). Many two and four year colleges offer programs in the culinary arts.…
