10 GOOD THINGS HAPPENING IN PAKISTAN BY:SYED DANIAL HASHMI
Pakistan is our beloved homeland. It is in crises situation,people are leaving it and started hating it but still there are a-lot-of good things that are happening here. Here are some of them:
1) People of Pakistan are still young-hearted. They have faced upheavals, in-justices, bomb blasts but still by and large maintain some sort of humor. They have shown remarkable entrepreneurial. Despite of all of the wrong things and sorrows they still celebrate events with a great feast. Whether it is Basant festival in different cities or national T20 Cup in Rawalpindi, it is Jeep Rally in Cholistan or Moto GP in Karachi my people celebrate each and every event in a memorial way. All this shows the open-heartedness and passion of Pakistanis.
2) Constitutional assembly of Pakistan has faced serious times. Now-a-days, the assembly is passing a bill namely Women Bill which is a huge step towards the empowerment of women in Pakistan. This bill will hopefully stop the violence on women in the different parts of the country.
3) Music of Pakistan is in a boom. Pakistani singers are scoring fame all-over the world. Even, the Indian films now-seems to be incomplete without the songs of Pakistani singers. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Atif Aslam, Shafqat Amanat are also super-stars of Bollywood. Pakistani bands and singers have rocked YouTube e.g a famous song of Falak has been viewed by more than 2,600,000 people in just about 3-4 months.
4) Education is making progress in the country by leaps and bound. In Punjab, laptops are being distributed to the students on merit. 120,000 laptops are being distributed by the provincial government to the students free-of-cost. This is a huge step in Pakistan, where a poor but intelligent student can’t afford a laptop of-his-own because in local market its price starts from 40000 rupee which is a lot in today’s economic situation.
