ESTJs thrive on order and continuity. Being extraverted, their focus involves organization of people, which translates into supervision. While ENTJs enjoy organizing and mobilizing people according to their own theories and tactically based agendas, ESTJs are content to enforce "the rules," often dictated by tradition or handed down from a higher authority.…

The importance of bringing all equipment to WLC is based solely on being accountable and as a leader that in tells a lot. If you you are not accountable as a leader, it hurts not only yourself, but the platoon, company or unit as a whole. Being accountable by Army standards, means being dependable-arriving to work and appointments on time, meeting deadlines, being in the right place at the right time, doing the right thing at the right time, IN THE RIGHT UNIFORM. The Army depends and runs on the discipline and the ability to be accountable for your actions and equipment. By forgetting my I.D card, I showed a lack of discipline. Regardless of personal problems, as a Soldier, it is my responsibility to insure that I uphold the standard. And with me striving to become a Noncommissioned Officer soon, this is unacceptable! If I can’t do the right thing, how can I make my Soldiers do it also. Without my equipment, I become a handicap for the rest of the class and my SGL, in this situation. By not having my I.D., I had to have my SGL, SSG H, walk me to my car, which took her away from the class and her job. It also removed SPC B, being that he had to be my battle buddy. If he had to take care of something, it wouldn’t have been able to because of my lack of responsibilty and accountability. Responsibilty and accountability are two important factors in being a successful NCO and…

Soldiers must be and act responsibly in every situation they may find themselves in, whether it’s in or out of uniform. Responsibility increases when soldiers believe that they have personal control over their mission performance, performing out of desire to do well instead of just following orders. There have been many studies that have suggested that when a Soldier feels that they have personal control over work performance the result is that the Soldier has a better task performance, better problem solving, and a higher persistence in accomplishing the task, more positive emotions and even better psychological and physical health. Responsibility and accountability are two of the main factors in being a successful Soldier in today’s U.S. Army. You must be a responsible soldier if you want to make it through deployment alive. Or even worse, if you fail to be responsible you could…

Integrity is one of the most talked about and most abused of the Seven Army Values. First we must define integrity it is doing the right thing consistently. That means that we must do the legally and morally correct thing every time. Just because something is hard or unpleasant does not mean that we can look the other way. Doing the right thing is not a matter of deciding do I help my fellow soldier and let him slide on an Army regulation or do I uphold the regulation. It means doing both they are both equally important. Sometimes helping a soldier means that you must enforce the regulations and in some cases that can mean discharging them from the Army at other times it means fighting for the soldier and getting them the help that they need to succeed in the Army.…

The following essay is a compilation of my personal experiences, definitions, and examples of how responsibility and accountability are important to surviving in today's Army. Responsibility is increased when soldiers have a single, clear set of rules that apply to a specific event. When the guidelines are unclear, or when more than one set of rules seems to apply to an event, responsibility is decreased. Responsibility is: the obligation for the proper, custody, care, and safekeeping of property or funds entrusted to the possession or supervision of an individual. Being responsible in the US Army has got to be of the utmost importance in my opinion. Throughout the past few months I have been dealing with many problems physically and mentally,…

Conversations are the ideal form of communication in some respects, since they allow people with different views of a topic to learn from each other. For a successful conversation, the partners must achieve a workable balance of contributions. The employment of dialogue has the power to add a sense of realism to the story by integrating the dimension of speech to the characters. This in turn adds depth, power and authenticity to ones’ work. The play ‘the club; written by David Williamson, the film ‘Meet Joe Black’ directed by Martin Brest and the lyrics “Father and Son’ by Cat Stevens all allow the audience to connect with the characters effectively through the composers’ use of language techniques and themes of dialogue.…

Today's world is full of competition. There is no space for comfort in this throat-cut competition. And our Educational board is providing relief to the students by introducing grading system in board. In my view grading system will made students more relax & there will be no competition to score good or high marks. This will directly affect their competitive attitude, which is I think will be not good for students. In this world, lack of competitive attitude in a person means they will not survive in the world. Students are the future of their country, so how can they bright the future of their country when they are no where in this breath-taking world...??As we all know, there is two sides- one is positive & another one is negative. Our Educational Board who thinks to reduce the suicidal cases of students. But what abt the students who are getting more than 90% marks...??Let us consider, if a student gets 90% & another one is getting 85% but the grade awarded to them is same....then what is the use of 90% marks. This will totally discourage them. They will be depressed. They will think what's the need of so much hard working when there is no use of it.Take a real experience of mine in engineering, I talk to one of my senior, who is meritorious student of his branch, he told me that in the first semester, he studied too much, gave full time to studies & scored 90% marks but he said what's the use of it. His colleagues who didn't study well also scoring equivalent marks to him. I know these all thoughts were came in the minds of the students."Marks doesn't matter, knowledge matters"The main reason of increasing suicidal cases is a worrying issue. The reason behind it, is the lack of good & effective education. In the end, I strongly oppose the Grading System. Our education should not be a burden for students. They should be encourage not discourage. Parents & teachers only helps students to overcome it & of course students also…
