12 Year A Slave
12 Year a Slave is not the first movie about slavery, but it is the best film ever made about the subject. If you have the chance to watch it, I think you should watch once. The film will like to take you back to history in 1841. You will clearly see what the life of darkness, suffering of the poor slaves. The film has left profound impression on my mind, and I feel really sympathy for the fates of the film. Although, the film ended, and Northup’s life has a happy ending, but I still hope the other slaves will also have happier life.

    Solomon Northup's "12 years a Slave" is based on the author's life story as a free man in the pre-civil North and was abducted and sold into slavery in the south.     The child of a previous slave, Northup was conceived free in the condition of New York in 1808, the year of the abolition of the slave exchange to the United States . He wedded Anne Hampton, who Northup depicts as a colored lady who conveyed in her veins the blood of the three races. Together they had three kids. In 1834, Northup and his family were living in Saratoga, New York. He worked performing diverse exercises.
