2.2.1. The minutes of the 151st meeting was confirmed on a motion by Mr. Ingraham II, and seconded by Mr. Baptiste.
3. MATTERS ARISING OUT OF THE MINUTES
3.1. Contractor to change the speakers in the International Departure and Domestic Check-in Areas. Project to be completed by September 01st, 2017.
3.2. Mr. Baptiste stated that the issue with the Display Screen has been resolved.

Project scheduled to begin on October 15th, 2017 and should be completed on/before December 15th, 2017. Works will be performed during the hours of 10:00pm – 5:30 am. Two (02) domestic flights (1551 and 1553) will be affected over the two (02) month period.
7. TWO (02) PORTACOOL INSTALLED
7.1 Attendees were informed of the Authority’s acquisition of two (02) Portacool for the Domestic Departure queuing area.
8. CHALLENGES AT INTERNATIONAL CHECK-IN : STANCHIONS
8.1. Ms. Redman stated that complaints have been received of disruption in operations due to stanchions not being utilized as agreed and airline agents not managing their passenger flow effectively. Airline Agents were asked to remain after the meeting to view PowerPoint presentation.
8.1.1. Ms. Roberts disagreed with complaint made and requested that the MAO visit the area during their operations.
9. OPEN DISCUSSION
9.1 Mr. Butler stated that there is an issue and a strong urgency for ANRRIA to have a holding facility for passengers who are denied entry/deported.
9.1.1 Mr. Butler suggested that Air Marshalls be introduced to accompany deported/denied passengers on flights. He further stated that such persons can prolong the process by appealing the …show more content…
9.9 Mr. Ingraham II stated that on August 15th, 2017 ATC commenced training for ten (10) additional personnel which will last for 7 ½ months. Three (03) personnel will be assigned to Tobago.
9.10 Mr. Phillip state that action must be taken to reduce Bird Strike. Incidents are sometimes very costly for airlines.
9.10.1 Mr. Chance stated that measures are being taken but, it is difficult during the rainy season which usually sees an increase in strikes. He further stated that the Lapwing was of grievous concern due to their aggressive nature.
9.11 Ms. Alexis requested an Airline Representative be present in the baggage area when flights are being processed. She further requested ramp side access for cash movements.
9.12 Mr. Ramdeo suggested that Airline Representatives liaise with their counterparts abroad to sensitize and deter their passengers from travelling or wearing camouflage attire. He further highlighted the security risk of collecting cash at the bond area.
9.13 Dr. Ezejiofor stated that Port Health and Public District Health representatives should be present at Aerodrome
