Europeans embarked on a massive campaign of imperialization in Africa coined “The Scramble for Africa”. The
Berlin Conference, however, did not include representation from any African nations or tribes. As a result, the Africans did not always agree with what the
Europeans tried to do. During this scramble, Africans reacted differently in that some responded with violence, hatred, and anger while others, with fearful submission and still others with Peaceful agreements. YES!
