The 21 Day Fix
The 21 Day Fix is a seven-days-a-week workout program that takes three weeks to complete. This means no breaks on weekends or public holidays falling in between. Once you get started you need to complete it without taking a break for the best results. The program is designed to make you look as good as you possibly can in only 21 days. But that’s not all; the deeper aim of this program is to teach the partakers of it to eat healthy and make exercise a part of their lives for life. It is therefore perfect for anyone who struggles with unhealthy eating habits.

Each colored cup represents a different food group. Whatever you can fit in that cup for a particular food group, you can eat; no measuring and no calorie counting. This aspect has made the 21 Day Fix one of the most popular beach body programs.
The 21 Day Fix has been termed the ‘I can do anything in 21 Days’. This is because there are no limitations to what you eat but only in portions which is manageable. Counting calories is the downfall of most diet programs and the biggest selling point of the 21 Day Fix is ‘No Calorie Counting’. Also, the fact that the daily exercises last only 30 minutes while targeting different areas of the body is a huge plus. Cardio, total body, lower body, upper body, Pilates and Yoga are included in the workout videos.
If like most people who have gone down that road you despise the word ‘diet’ and think it should be removed from our vocabulary, the n the 21 Day Fix is for you. This is because this program is definitely all about lifestyle changes rather than going on a diet. It also shows you how easy it is to incorporate exercise and healthier eating habits into your everyday routine, not only for 21 days, but for life. The best way to get into the 21 Day Fix is to consider those first three weeks a milestone in your commitment to healthy living and using those tools for life. Having this mentality is helpful for staying

Effective weight control will never be “quick and easy”, but that is “doable”. His book espouses a philosophy that is brilliant in its simplicity. He includes a wealth of self-analysis in the form of assessments, timelines, goal setting, readiness profiles and action plans. His book incorporates concrete details for daily planning and food action plans, which include a specific system of meal planning that is widely used by dietitians and health organizations. He describes a divided-plate system for meal planning: ¼ protein, ¼ starch, and ½ low-calorie, high-fiber plant-based food—fruits and vegetables.…

The Jenny Craig Program claims weight loss success due to the various short-term success stories. Like any weight loss program of course Jenny Craig works but only if one works it. For the most part the same cannot be said from majority about the long-term loss of a Jenny Craig dieter. If exercise is not implemented or healthy eating choices as well as portion control of everyday food items is not followed and learnt the weight will come off but only for a short time. Some positive points about the Jenny Craig diet, it teaches dieters in 3 levels. The first is how to eat the foods they want -- in small, frequent portions, the second level teaches how to increase their energy levels through simple activity, the third it teaches ways to build more balance into a dieters life in order to maintain weight loss and healthy diet. There are two Jenny Craig programs one is built around physical Jenny Craig centers the other is an at-home Jenny Direct program which offers information by telephone and mail. Another positive aspect about the program is they have several different levels of support, they have a 24/7-telephone line so their clients are able to get support when they need it as well as online support; they also offer peer-support discussion groups. My current diet is a complete disaster. Because of my work schedule, I don’t get up until around 11:00am, so when I do wake I have a cup or two of orange juice which is what I consider to be my breakfast. On the way to work, I grab a hamburger and soft drink. Also, I sometimes skip the soft drink and get a Monster energy drink if I am still tired from the night before. I have to put Devion on the bus in the morning which leaves me very sleepy most days, so I use this as an excuse to grab the energy drinks to make it through each day. My day at work is really boring, so, my co-worker and I sit and eat to actually entertain ourselves throughout the day. One of my major obstacles will be to ignore her when she offers me some foods or snacks because she really likes to eat several different snacks throughout the day. She really gets offended if someone turns down her offer for a snack, but, I would really like to lose some of this weight.…

Hautzinger and, Scandlyn’s “Decentering PTSD: A War Outgrows a Diagnosis” is about post traumatic stress disorder(PTSD) and how it's an invisible wound among soldiers .Many soldiers believed that in order to come out of the war those that are claiming to have PTSD are lying. PTSD is socially or culturally constructed. American physicians said many soldiers came to them about physical abnormalities who actually had none. And that is a sign of PTSD. There is a difference of PTSD in today’s soldiers and soldiers from the Civil War. Soldiers from the Civil War showed disturbance of the heart and today’s soldiers show disturbance of their behavior. During World War I PTSD was known as shell shock which many believed happened due to exposure to blasts. They were blamed for malingering or escaping the war and the punishment is severe for not showing ‘enough’ patriotism, such as electric shock so that they will be back into service. However in 1980, PTSD was considered to be normal. Those who engage in wars suffers from PTSD only they can understand and feel what it is or how it is therefore their pain is often ignored by the rests around them. Those in charge instead of being suspicious of those who suffers from it should provide treatment and compensation.…
