24 Day Challenge Research Paper
Hey, guys! It's Sydney here, and I have officially made it further in the 24 Day Challenge than the last time I attempted it! YAY!!!! Yesterday was a struggle because I was really starting to crave fast food. There is no doubt in my mind that I am probably addicted to fast food because I would eat it every single day, and sometimes more than once a day. I am very excited to continue with this challenge because I know once it is over all of the bad things will have been cleaned out of my system, and I hope to not crave fast food anymore. If I can do this, so can anyone else. No matter your age, weight, or busy schedule, I promise you can do it! I am a morbidly obese woman addicted to junk food, but I have survived 3 days (we are now on the 4th)

If you are a slow runner or can’t jump to save your life foot bag is the game for you. Foot bag, known today as hacky sack, was invented in 1972 by John Stalberger and Mike Marshall of Oregon City, Oregon. Recovering from knee surgery, John Stalberger decided he wanted to find a fun way to rehabilitate his knee. Mike Marshall is the one who actually created the first hacky sack. He created a hand-made bean bag and was kicking it around. During the time of John Stalberger’s recovery the two decided to kick around the bean bag for fun. They ended up turning it into a game and calling it Hackin’ the Sack. Later on the two men collaborated and marked their new game under the trademark of “Hacky Sack®”.…

The Rule Day Club began in 1932 during the final year of prohibition, and the beginning years of the great depression. This club acquired its name because it met on the second Monday of every month, which at the time was colloquially known as “Rule Day” or the day “the law made certain writs returnable after service to the civil common law courts in Baltimore.” Unlike the Lawyers’ Round Table—which respected the legal restraints imposed by prohibition—the members of the Rule Day Club “freely imbibed” on the grounds that liquor was an “institutionalized ritual.” Indeed, the Rule Day Club was founded at Congressman John Philip Hill’s rowhome at 3 West Franklin Street, which the congressman had conveniently renamed “Franklin Farms” in order to…

The day reporting center programs are a form of probation. The concept of probation was created by John Augustus, who was a Boston shoemaker, and was credited with being the “Father of Probation”. Augustus noticed through what took place in courts that minor offenders and alcohol abusers were sent to jail because of the inability to pay off fines. Being offended and disturbed by this action, Augustus made an agreement with authorities to pay off the offenders fines and give them friendly supervision. Between 1841 and 1858, Augustus bailed out about 2,000 men, women, and children. Through friendliness, confidence, and helping the offender obtain jobs while aiding their family, he was able to report on progress toward reformation and keep the…

There are many things to consider when setting up your survival kits. First size is probably the most important aspect to consider. If your day trip survival kit is so large that you do not carry it with you and it is left in the cab of your truck while you embark on your hunting trip it is worthless. However, if it is not adequate in dealing with common emergencies and covering the basic human needs than it is also ineffective. I recommend that your day trip survival kit to be something that is easily carried. Using a camel back or small back pack is a good way to pack this kit. I actually have my survival kit pack in a small molle zipper pouch that I can detach from one pack and attach to another pack or even a belt…
