3 Ways to Spend Free Time
There are many ways I would like to spend my free time during the week. I like to exercise, watch TV, and play with my child. Those are some things I like to do on my free time. First of all, I like to exercise. Lifting weights helps keep my body tuned and built. Exercising is one of the main reasons that helps keep my muscles tuned and not weak. Running around the track helps with my cardio. Cardio helps keep my heart pumping smoothly. Exercising helps everyone body as a whole. It also helps with the metabolism. I can also exercise while at home. Dance workout videos can help in less than ten minutes of workout every day. The next thing, I like to do in my free time is watch TV. Lifetime is one of my favorite shows. It helps with my relaxing time. I like watching the episodes with a husband cheating on his wife. I watch cartoons when I am depressed. While on the other hand cartoons is a sense of humor. My favorite show on cartoons is Tom and Jerry, with the cat chasing the mouse. Another channel is sport network. I watch this channel when football season comes around. The Pittsburgh Steelers are my favorite football team. I do not like the Dallas Cowboys football team. Finally I like playing with my child on my free time. I like to teach her how to spell her name and also how to say her name correctly. We draw shapes and write numbers. Another thing is putting her ABC’s back in the right order on the board. The hardest thing is teaching her how to share her toys and snacks with the other children. She does not like sharing since she is the only child. We go outside a lot to play in the sandbox and to write her name in the sand. Her favorite game to play outside is tag.     Exercise gives people the ability to have more self-esteem, self-worth, and a higher level of confidence. Brisk walking for one hour a day for five days a week burns about two-thousand calories a week. Strong muscles also help protect you from injuries when you exercise, because they give better support to your joints. Plus, when you're breathing deeply during exercise and bringing more air into your lungs, your brain appreciates the extra oxygen. Most kids are pretty flexible, but as people get older they tend to lose their flexibility. Our muscles also function as shock absorbers and serve as important balancing agents throughout our body. To be most effective in weight loss, exercise should last at least forty-five minutes.     As a student, I am quite busy on weekdays. However, at weekends, I have much free time, so I usually spend it on relaxing to prepare for a coming busy week. First of all, in my free time, I like playing some sports, such as soccer, badminton or basketball, with my friends. Sport not only makes me stronger but also connects me with my friends who have the same hobbies. We sometimes go riding in order that we can combine sporting activity and sightseeing. If the weather is not fine enough for me to hang out with my friends, I like to read books. I have a big bookshelf with many kinds of books but I prefer science books.
