Abstract: This paper investigates the relation between the LAU2 centroids of selected countries in Eastern Europe and the closest airports, in terms of contribution to the construction of the theoretical catchment areas for these air nodes. Using time distances calculated in the road network and demographic mass of 2010, the methodology we propose is a reproductible guideline for the estimation of the relation between different geographical objects that match on an administrative geometry, at local level. Taking a conceptual distance to notions such as spatial accessibility or potential of interaction, we delineated the catchment areas based on the relative demographic contribution of the LAU2 to the construction of the airports ' territorial service areas. The main challenge we faced is not the complexity of the model, but the proper estimation of the time distances in the road network and the implementation of cumulated population functions that can be mapped, in order to decline our objective - the territorial catchment areas of the airports.

The Abolitionist Movement that began in the 1830s changed America greatly. Being apart of the movement meant either using your way with words, like Frederick Douglass, to motivate others into joining, or personally helping slaves attain freedom, as did William Mitchell. The 1830s and on became a progressive time for all types of people. White men and women in the North started to team with African Americans, thus creating the Abolitionist Movement. People apart of the movement made it evident that change would happen in America and justice will be brought to those who don't receive it.…

The concept of revenge is a central theme in almost every work written by William Shakespeare, including Hamlet, Othello, Macbeth and The Tempest. It was one of the most important aspect of human nature presented in his works. In The Tempest, from the very beginning, Prospero’s behaviour seems to be highly related to his deep resentment of having been betrayed and overthrown by his own brother, Antonio. Every action taken, every decision made by Prospero is driven by his feeling of vengeance, at least, at the first half of the play. Nevertheless, Prospero undergoes a transformation caused by his own human nature, allowing himself to forgive those who sinned against him only after he has emerged triumphant and has seen the traitors pay for their transgressions. In this way, Shakespeare shows revenge as a wild justice and not a noble cause from which good results cannot be expected.…
