In my opinion, I would definitely advocate that study abroad has obvious advantages compare to its disadvantages. First of all, foreign student can make more friends around the world, and also learn about their culture and languages, or teach them about our own country’s cultures and languages. Secondly, foreign student can get more experience and broad-minded because they are consider alone after they leave their home and country to study in oversea, they learn to be more independent and learn how to adapted in other country. Thirdly, foreign student have the opportunity to try some part time-work to gain difference of working experience and good knowledge that we couldn’t know in domestic country. Furthermore, they have the opportunity to gain more pocket money during their school season break time in overseas. There is a high payment when they working in foreign country, because of the currency of country. Fourth, foreign student have the travel opportunity when they are in overseas, it provide a double beneficial for student which can travel and study at the same time. Fifth, student who has studied abroad in foreign country has the higher payment and highly respected by company in his/her domestic country, because of the highly-qualification of their academic, good knowledge from overseas and experience in his/her field.
In conclusion, studying abroad offers great opportunities for a better future, it is an adventures that we can learn many excellent knowledge and experience to improve ourselves. As you can see from the above statement, we have so much of advantages in studying abroad. However, we also have to consider about the factors that I do mentioned in above statement. There can be a sometimes sad or happy experience for foreign students with its different language and culture to study and adapting in overseas (Sowmiya, 2014).

Studying Abroad has become increasingly popular amongst college students - and for good reason. Studying in a different country can not only help students achieve more in their adult lives, but ultimately change their life for the better from the experience. Adaptation and tolerance is one benefit a student can gain from studying abroad. By living first hand in a unfamiliar place in allows you to learn empathy and understanding from those different from you. Independence and Confidence are traits commonly reported from students who have lived this experience. Typically a student will travel alone of with a few other friends, being put into new, sometimes scary situations that will for them to think differently then they may have before. ARGUMENTATIVE ESSAY: STUDYING IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY IS NOT WORTHWHILE If you have a chance, where would you prefer to study, in a foreign country or in Vietnam? Many argue that studying abroad may come with negative influences such as high cost, culture shock and bad living condition. However, it is my contention that there are many advantages to study abroad that you can never get in Vietnam. Critics of oversea study may say that students studying abroad have to pay high cost for tuition and living. For example, the average cost in Oklahoma, one of lowest cost of living in the US is about 1500$ a month. This is a high cost for Vietnamese people who earn about 500$ to 1000$ on average. There is no denying this; however, students will contact a plenty of advanced educations from the whole world. It means that they can enjoy good and modern facilities. Students study in small classes with from fifteen to twenty students, use modern libraries which have many kinds of books and materials for studying or make experiment in the best labs. Furthermore, students also have a chance to reach the latest academic theories and teaching methods that improve their knowledge a lot. Another argument against studying in foreign countries is that most international students go through is culture shock. When students go to study abroad they are living somewhere very different and may come across many troubles such as different food, religious and local custom. There is some truth in this argument, but study abroad allows you get to learn another culture first-hand. A person's culture reflects very deep perceptions, beliefs, and values that influence his or her way of life and the way that she or he views the world. Students who overcome their culture shock will truly understand where other cultures are coming from and overwhelm them easily. Other critics of studying abroad also claim that in a foreign country most international students are forced to deal with the…

In the course Study Abroad: Learning Through Engagement, I was required to write a reentry report depicting how studying abroad changed me and my perspective on the world. In my report I made the claim that, “Studying abroad is an integral part of higher education.” According to Wayne C. Booth (et al) this claim, though vague, is a practical claim because it first addresses a problem, “caused by some condition in the world,” it contains an ‘undesirable consequence’, of that condition, and to avoid this problem, a call to action for my readers (53-54).…
