This causes the shape of the box plot to be quite spread out with the median and quartiles close together. The female writing hand box plot is also the same length as the writing hand box plot; this is because the minimum and maximum data from the writing hand came from females. When putting the male and female writing hand box plots in comparison to each other, you can see that females have a much larger range than the males as discussed before. This causes the female box plot to have a lower, lower quartile and median and a higher upper quartile. The median for males is only slightly higher than the median for females, keeping in mind that males had data from an eleven (11) year old and females had data from a forty two (42) year old. This can cause the data to be slightly swayed as there were not equal age groups for both box…

(EC-Council, 2009) These vulnerabilities are known as a system’s attack surface. One of the core job functions of Network administrators is reducing this attack surface through a process called system hardening. There a number of techniques that can be used to harden Microsoft clients and servers such as scanning the system with nmap to find any vulnerabilities that comes from having open ports. After the initial scan the administrator should close open ports and uninstall unnecessary services. (Solomon, 2014) Administrators should also run follow up scans with nmap to make sure that there are no ports or services that they may have missed during their first run. Nmap is not the only program that can identify vulnerabilities within a server, the SCW utility should also be used when you are installing new server hardware to check for any unwanted services that may be set to run on the server as a default setting. 1. In our setting, it is important for us to work with parents/carers/guardians as this benefits the children that we care for. It may be that the child has an illness or allergy that we need to be made aware of, issues at home or school, behaviour change, additional needs etc. We would expect the parents/carers to let us know about these kind of things relating to their child so that we can provide the best care possible. If we are not kept up to date, we may miss something, eg. We are not told that a child is allergic to a certain food, and we may offer it to the child at lunch or snack time which of course would be very dangerous for them. Also, we as child minders would need to act in the same way, and let a parent/carer know of any changes/ additional needs for their child. If they have sustained an injury whilst in our care, been unwell, behaviour issues, or if their school have notified us about something that we need to pass on to the parent. Good communication is key in our workplace. To try and give parents as much information as possible, each child has their own book in which we record what they have eaten, the times their nappies were changed and what time they had a nap. We also write about the activities they did, their mood and behaviour, or if they have achieved any next steps. This is so that the parents can read about their childs day, and it is also a good record for us to keep track of their progress etc.…
