It was just another normal day in school in Presbyterian Day School in Clarksdale, Mississippi.
However, things changed when Olivia Ellis caught two of her students sleeping in a very intimate and friendly way.
"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. 1 John 4:7," this was the caption in the photo that has been uploaded in Facebook. It instantly gained 3,000 likes.

The title of this book is “Sleeping Freshmen Never Lie.” If the word “lie” from the title was meant to mean “lie down,” the title would be a play on words because you usually lie down when you sleep. So, they are saying that freshmen are too busy doing homework and other schoolwork to lie down and sleep peacefully. If the word “lie” means not telling the truth, then the title would be saying that freshmen who are sleeping never tell lies, which is obvious because you can’t talk when you’re asleep. Scott has lied to Wesley, his dad, and himself. One day, Mr. Franka sent Scott to the office to pick up a file, so he went to the office, sat down and waited for the secretary to get him the file. Later, Wesley arrives at the office because he got…

I thought it was going to be a normal day in first grade.. Boy was I wrong! We were learning about different plants and animals. And of course, insects. At the time, I went to an elementary school called Thunder Mountain Elementary, in Grand Junction. We were sitting in groups and the lights were off with the projector on. If I remember correctly, we were also taking notes. Our teacher, Ms. White was, well, teaching us. That’s kinda what teachers do. Maybe teachers do other things we aren’t aware of.. Nah. In second grade, teachers were like, Einstein and the smartest of mentors, not saying that people still don’t think that now. Teachers are awesome and have some of the best or worst stories to tell. But, before today, I didn’t really mind…

“The Sleep” by Caitlin Horrocks basically tell you about the people in the small town of Bounty. Protagonist Albert Rasmussen wife was killed by a drunk driver on an icy road. In this town the people looked up to Albert Rasmussen because he was smart and decided to stay in Bounty after graduation. Albert had gathered the whole town over in his family room to have a discussion. This discussion took place “…before the cameras, before the sleep, before the outsiders, and the plan sounded as strange to us as it would to anybody” (Horrocks 104). This literally means that they didn’t have anything much technology and before they actually decided to sleep. In this short story “The Sleep” sleep is a symbol to many things such as hibernation, separation, death.…

I observed Mr. Dave’s pre-k class at Montclair pre-school. I arrived at the classroom at 8:00 am to accessed the classroom as well to speak to Mr. Dave. We reviewed the day’s plan as I helped him clean up. While cleaning around the room I noticed how colorful the room was. There were: banners of letters and numbers hanging on the wall, as well as a large alphabet carpet on the floor for the kids to sit on, toys to play with and books to read. As the children arrived, they removed their belongings and placed them in the cubbies. Afterwards, they grabbed their name tags and set their lunchboxes on the lunchbox table. I played with the kids until class started at 9:00…
