8th Grade Legacy
It is the day of your 8th grade graduation. You look around and see your friends and family. You begin to think back and ask yourself “Where has it all gone?” It all seems like a blur. Think back through the years. How do you think the people you have encountered think about you? Will they think of you in a positive way or a negative way? The way in which you are remembered is your legacy. Some people will have respectable legacies, while others won’t. It is up to you what type of legacy you have. I hope that at the end of 8th grade, I will have a respectable legacy.

To leave behind a honorable legacy, I will have impacted the lives of people around me in a positive way. By the end of the 8th grade year I hope I will be viewed as someone who is hardworking and persevering. By the time the 8th grade year has come to an end, I hope to be considered a role model for other students inside the classroom. I think that if I work hard I will be able to achieve these goals and more. If i do achieve these goals I think I will be on the perfect path to leave a respectable legacy behind. …show more content…
Without goals you have nothing to work towards. Some of the goals I have set for myself this year are to get into a high school program. The programs I would like to be in are Computer Science at Freehold Boro, Medical Science at Freehold Boro, or International Baccalaureate program and Freehold Township. I plan on achieving this goal by studying hard, getting good grades, and always striving for more. Another goal I have set for myself is to make the playoffs this year in football. I plan on achieving this goal by working hard at practice and getting all my teammates to work hard also. If I achieve these goals I think I will have an even more honorable

    As of now, I have placed in soccer tournaments with various soccer clubs (some of them in the premier division, which is the highest division in MOSA), won elementary school chess tournaments, won the "Catena Fun Run" for my age group, and got the most noteworthy presidential grant there is when I graduated fifth grade. I would like to have the success of being accepted into Biotec, and later go on to become a doctor of some sort. As I proceed with my life, I would also want accomplishments in my interests, activities, and schooling to become part of my legacy as well. However, accomplishments are great, but something else is an important part of your legacy- change. As of now, I haven't really made any immense or significant changes to the school or world. I mean, with everything you accomplish you definitely alter your school and world in some small way, but when I think of a great big change, I think of something that positively impacts everyone in a specific group, such as a school or world.
