Exposition: Taking responsibility for one's actions, is the cornerstone (a step forward) to becoming an adult. It is a really upsetting thing, when an adult (let alone a president) doesn't take responsibility for their actions. At a kid's point of view (or a point of view of any), that is hypocrisy, hypocritical and makes a kid think. Those kids are thinking, 'Why do I have to take responsibility for my actions if they don't?". "Can I say something to someone and do the opposite?" (Which is the definition of hypocrisy). It is true, when you take responsibility for your actions, you can learn from them. Once you know you "screwed up" or made a mistake, you realize that what you did was wrong and are less likely not to do that mistake again.
President Bush took responsibility for 9/11, even though he didn't have anything to really do to cause it. He took responsibility and he came to the conclusion that we must go to war. They didn't only attack our home soil, but killed thousands of innocent people. They were defenseless and unaware of what was happening. Either until after the plane(s) hit the towers or just before (when you saw the plane, planes, about to hit the towers). This wasn't only a "massacre" or some sort of an "invasion", but it was a historical moment. 9/11 was a date and a time where we were hit, for the first time, on our home soil. That was the first time we were attacked, we had to go to war.

Action and Supporting Details 2: Some say that going to war would just make things worse. What do you think? If we wouldn't have fought back, once we were hit, or attempted something in response to that terrorist attack, would it get better or would it have gotten worse? History shows that us fighting back has gotten us into more trouble, yes, but in the long run we were successful and the attacks, if not extinguished, were decreased. Think about if we didn't go to war though, when they attacked. Do you think they would have stopped? Or would they have tried to take
