We have a right now- an intellectual right- to disbelieve the official story about an alleged terrorist outrage to begin with. He goes on to talk about how Psychological projection is a defense mechanism in which one attributes to others ones own unacceptable or unwanted thoughts or emotions or actions. Zwicker says that in regards to conspiracies some people will never be able to even look at an event as a conspiracy. The official 9/11 event cannot be true according to evidence however because of psychological factors such as Leon Festinger's Cognitive Dissonance. This refers to a situation involving conflicting attitudes, beliefs or behaviors producing a feeling of discomfort leading to an alteration in one of the attitudes, beliefs or behaviors to reduce the discomfort and restore balance. "I don't want to go there" "they know enough to not want to know more", says Zwicker. Another psychological theory which helps keep the general public from learning the truth about 9/11 is Edward Bernay's group theory. The opening of Berney's book, "Propaganda", written in 1928 is as follows: " The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of. This is a logical result of the way in which our democratic society is organized. Vast numbers of human beings must cooperate in this manner if they are to live together as a smoothly functioning society. Propaganda is the executive arm of the invisible government. Our invisible governors are, in many cases, unaware of the identity of their fellow members in the inner cabinet. They govern us by their qualities of natural leadership, their ability to supply needed ideas and by their key position in the social structure. Whatever attitude one chooses to take toward this condition, it remains a fact that in almost every act of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, in our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons—a trifling fraction of our hundred and twenty million—who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It is they who pull the wires which control the public mind, who harness old social forces and contrive new ways to bind and guide the world. (Propaganda, Bernays 1928, Page 27-28 ig publishing, Brooklyn, NY). Zwicker believes mainstream media and politicians alike use the events of 9/11 as a lynchpin for the so-called "War on Terror", which is the governments project and by evoking the fear of 9/11 and reminding us all of not only what happened but what could happen again, we will continue or War on Terror, which will then enable all of the arms makers to profit immensely and the World Domination, and the Police State project to all move forward. So they need to keep evoking the fear of 9/11 on the general public. We cannot afford to be in denial about these things, for if we are, then our liberties can easily be taken away from us. We have to constantly continue to talk about and question the actions of our government or else we will forget about them. Henrey Kissenger was quoted as saying, "Military men are stupid animals used as pawns." Woodward & Bernstein, The Final Days , second Touchstone paperback edition (1994) Chapter 14, pp. 194-195

For about the past ten years, I have always believed that the attacks on September 11 were controlled by the Iraqis and their leader Osama Bin laden. About a month ago, I was recommended by a friend to watch the movie Loose Change 9/11. After watching this movie, it totally changed my outlook on what actually happened to the World Trade Centers and the Pentagon. The movie shows how there are a series of “coincidences” on how things actually happened that the world never found out about, until now.…

The day of September 11th, 2001 the world witnessed with disbelief as the World Trade Center in New York City came crashing down. The shock the attacks generated and the some 3,000 or more people it killed made it one of the brutal attacks in history. One may only wonder how such a grand scaled attack could be carried through. Although controversial, evidence suggests that the September 11th attacks in 2001 were an inside job and the statements of the Bush administration following them were a fabricated truth that many people believed. Unfortunately the tragic event has scarred the lives of many people globally and changed the course of the near future.[1]…

5. In this course I have assigned a conspiracy debunking book on widespread conspiracy allegations concerning the events of 9/11/01. That book, compiled by the journal POPULAR MECHANICS: Debunking 9/11 Myths: Why Conspiracy Theories Can’t Stand Up, attempts to silence the avalanche of suspicion triggered by attacks that day. You can obtain the essence of those suspicions by consulting the many "Truther" sites on the Web. To a general reader, explain what we ought to think about 9/11 in the wake of this confrontation over what actually happened on that fateful day and why. Explain why you reached this conclusion. Address this question: How successful can the most thorough debunking be in the wake of allegations of the sort made by the Truther movement? I own several books and CD's making the case for conspiracy for your use if you wish to consult one or more of them. Of course, the internet is full of that material. You might want to entitle your essay, “Can conspiracy doubts ever be put to rest?”.…
