this category tend to make a lot of money and take on a lot of stress. Sometimes taking on this stress can cause these people to develop health problems if they can not handle the stress well. These people finish their work well but take on lots of responsibility. I tend to show the stress part of the personality trait because I take on a lot of responsibility and work hard to finish my work on time. According to this personality traits some jobs recommended for me are a career in business, a lawyer or a sales person. None of those careers are in interest to me but may be an interest to others with a type A personality type.
The second test I took was the Hexagon personality trait test. This test helped me research a career in a more indepth way. This test showed me I was a doer helper and organizer. Doers are reliable and hands on people who enjoy making and fixing things. Helpers are good working with others and want to make the world a better place. While, organizers are people who keep things running smooth and prefer to be inside alone, rather than with other people. After taking the test I was told I show these qualities and was recommended the careers of an elementary teacher, a psychologist or a social worker. These careers are an interest of me therefore I feel that this test is very helpful in the search of a career.
I also took the Myers Briggs personality test.
This test gave me three career options based on my results. I got the results of extrovert feeler judger and intuitive. I was provided with the careers of a teacher, child welfare worker or an occupational therapist. I was given these options because a person with this personality type tend to like having decisions made and matters settled before moving on to another task but can be overly involved and overlook real problems and their needs. The multiple Intelligence test is a similar test, where we were tested on the way we learn best.
I received kinesthetic, interpersonal and linguistic. a kinesthetic person learns best through hands-on approach. These people may be active and enjoy participating in sports teams. They enjoy actively exploring the physical world around them. People with interpersonal traits put themselves in the shoes of other people. Meaning they see things from the others point of view in order to understand how they think and feel. These people tend to be more caring and kind towards other people. They may be interested in careers that help people. Lastly, linguistic people enjoy speaking to others. This means they have highly developed auditory skills and are generally elegant speakers. They may enjoy talking and telling stories, as well as debates and conferences. Having these qualities some career choices may be a teacher, counselor or a physical education teacher.
The career clusters test was different because a career cluster is an organizational tool that link education with business and industry through sixteen broad career clusters. After taking the test I got the results of education and training, human services, and marketing sales and services. I then took the interest profiler portion of the test and was given many career options. After assessing my options I chose, special education teacher, child family and school social worker or a child care
worker.
