Finally, it’s done. I have created not only the most powerful concoction known to man but the biggest breakthrough in Science history. I carried my prized artefact filled with a green gooey liquid outside of the laboratory and walked slowly to the storage room. The storage room is the one place in this 25-floor laboratory, where the temperature is a chilling -87 degrees Celsius. I pulled on my lab coat and I was going in. Despite the temperature in here, I was mildly warm due to my lab coat. I walked in and something astonished me. I thought I saw an eye of something or someone at the back …show more content…
of the storage desk. No matter I thought to myself. As I placed the concoction neatly away into the far most concealed safe, I heard a loud noise. THUD. The door slammed shut and as I swung myself around I caught a glimpse of what looked like a man in a black hood running away. Since this was the 13th and “Unluckiest” floor, this man wasn’t going to run anywhere. He would have to take the lift. I shoved my artefact away and shut the safe concealing the concoction. It was all good and I was ready to check on this mysterious hooded figure, but at that moment I didn’t realise what went all horribly wrong.
20 minutes later
After a while of searching on the floor, I eventually gave up and decided to call it a day.
The only way I could have possibly seen him escape was by jumping off the balcony and yet again the balcony was 13 stories high with a huge graveyard down at the bottom. As I grabbed my briefcase someone was waiting for me at the door. It was a young man around the age of 16 and he was a mail delivery agent from the MAIL district. I took the letter and read it to myself. It said
Dear Brave scientist,
While you are reading this something very terrible is happening on your floor right now. You won’t realise it until it is too late. If your curiosity is upsetting you let me inform you, yes I was in the storage room.

This was all I needed to know when it finally struck me. It was like a lightning bolt piercing my skin until all that was left was my beating heart. “I didn’t lock the safe!” I ran out of the laboratory towards the storage room and there it was. The green gooey liquid seeping out of the storage room. This couldn’t be happening. It was everywhere and what nearly gave me a heart attack was that it was seeping down the balcony. I looked down and there it was. My concoction of life was bringing back the dead. They were walking. It turns out there was nothing I could do. I had caused this and all I could do was to accept that nothing would be the same
