That stalls us for half an hour, and then we leave. The bus gets half way back home, and the chaperones realize something. They forgot one of the teachers and the group he was watching that day, so we drive back and call the teacher, turns out they somehow got a ride home right after we noticed them missing. The bus didn’t get home until around 10:00 that night. My mom was about to unleash on the teachers and deans for getting back so late. We were supposed to be back at 7:30 pm, she was there for two and a half hours waiting for us to get back, but then they explained what happened, and that didn’t help much. She just told me to get into the car and go home. I get a call right after I get home from Mike saying he took Schroeder’s wallet, and I was just like “Leave the kid alone, man, he already had a rough day”. That was the understatement of the year, he had the worst day of his life, but he wasn’t mad at us at all. Even after we told him about the Superman seat, he just blew it off and was in a good mood. He is the most resilient kid I ever met; he takes so much from those guys, but he still likes to hang out with them. I got to show some respect for…

It was the year 2012, when I experienced a life-changing event, which led to my transition from childhood into adulthood. This event was my parent’s divorce. During this time I was scared and hurt, because my parents’ separation not only meant the parting of my parents-but parting from the life I’ve always known as a child. The separation moved at an almost mockingly lackadaisical pace. Months tediously dragged on, and even after the legal separation my life was never as it once was. I started to appreciate the people who were present in my life and how precious family stability is. The idea of losing my mother or father to divorce made me realize that this could have easily been a loss due to an illness. I grew to appreciate that I am lucky to have them in my life period. It was at this time that I seriously thought about working in health care; a field that aims to prolong human lives. This event of my childhood that some might even call traumatic, bettered me, and brought me into the adult world.…

The moment we met everything was alive. They would speak, and it was as if I could see the colors admitting from a beautiful symphony. The connection we had was strong enough to cut the tension in a room. The emotions were fresh, and understanding one another came as second nature. Though the afternoon when everything came tumbling down, my mind was racing trying to catch up with reality. Not knowing how to cope with the sudden change only made the chase of coming back a longer process. Contemplating on how in the beginning I was seeing symphonies, but now all I could…

Once again, I was placed in Mrs.Metcalfe who teaches second grade at Bens Branch Elementary. Mrs.Metcalfe took attendance while the students waited patiently on the carpet. After she took attendance, she addressed that she had taken some privileges away from the students because the students did not picked up their mess after having centers and would not follow instructions that the teacher gave. She explained that centers might return for the upcoming school year if they behaved properly. After she addressed the issues of the students, she instructed everyone to go back to their desks and waited till they put their thumbs which meant that they were ready for the lesson of the day. Mrs.Metcalfe went up to the front of the class to use the projector and expected her students to follow what she was doing on their worksheets.…
