There are many different activities that I do with each age group of children in order to achieve my professional goals. These activities include open ceremony and discussion time. In this time the children are able to talk about their day at school, their weekend, or any other topics that they bring up. Other activities include homework, kids…
My goal has been to be prepared and sometimes ahead of what’s coming, even if it has meant giving up some free time on evenings and the weekends. I have and continue to work hard to achieve my goals and take pride in my accomplishments thus far. I am never happy with something that is anything than less than my best effort. This applies across my academics and my favorite pastime of playing travel baseball.…
When I first joined the Army, my intent was never to stay in, as long as I have, let alone contemplate staying in until I retire. If my name is never remembered but my actions are inherited by future leaders, I would feel as though that my legacy has been left in history. To be able to emulate what CSM Bailey has taught me and continues to teach me as I move up in the ranks. To hopefully one day, I can do the same to junior Soldiers having the impact that years down the road they could look back to and know what to do. To be that coach and mentor that those under my command deserve to…
At this stage their communication development is expanding through the child confidence in communication with adults and its peers…
The framework of communication – communication with a child or young adult can be enhanced through play or sports activities, whilst on school trips or at playtimes. When striking a conversation with a child it is ideal to talk about topic of their interest such as a hobby, music, television programme, pop star they favour etc. Talking to them about a topic that they have knowledge of makes them feel more comfortable in your presence and therefore again more approachable should they wish to converse with you on any other matter. However it is important to remain professional at all times and to remember the role that you hold. Do not make false promises to keep information that they may reveal to you a secret if doing so could cause harm or distress to themselves or another…
A goal I have for my future husband and I is to help our children develop their God given talents to see just how much they can impact the world. I also want to go on mission trips around the world with the Catholic Church working in…
Something very important to me in my life is service and that is why throughout my life I also plan to remain involved in the act of helping others in need. Throughout high school I have belonged to a youth group that’s has gone a mission trip every summer, and on these trips I have had some of the most meaningful experiences of my life which have really made me realize how good my life is, and how important it is to share your talents, abilities, and time with others who may not be as fortunate as yourself.…
This assignment will show what services are available in early year’s settings and for young people to support positive development. It will show what assessments we carry out within my setting and I will also critically analyse agencies that are available for referrals, transitions and safeguarding for children and young people.…
My personal mission is to constantly strive to be the best overall person that I can be within my personal and professional life. My goals are to inspire and help others and myself around me to achieve greatness that will maximize our potential to transcend the boundaries of our dreams.…
I want to be a part of something that truly makes a different in a person’s everyday life. I’ve always had a passion for the well-being of others. I want to be a source of strength to those who may be recovering from a surgery and just want to get back to living life, or to children, like my son, who just need a little extra help so they can enjoy and flourish in their childhood and in…
For me, teaching provides a chance to help kids learn to grow and continue their education. One of my hopes is to inspire a love of learning in my students and to see that light bulb go off as they share my love for learning with them. I think there…
My philosophy of ministry is to teach believers, through teaching the Bible, and training leaders. So, that they may, in turn, teach others to be rooted and built up in Him as seen in Colossians 2:6-7.…

Ever since the winter of my eighth grade year, I have been a leader of the youth group of my church. I do everything from planning summer and winter retreats to organizing a fun weekend activity. I make sure that there is a theme, enough food, plenty of volunteers, fun games, and more for the retreats. The weekend activity is usually a weekend sleepover at the church, also known as a lock-in, or a trip to the bowling alley or laser tag arena; these weekends occur roughly every two to three months. To make sure that the activities go smoothly, I need to be certain that everyone has money, a ride, and a change of clothes. The many things that I do at my youth group, including, but not limited to, organizing retreats and lock-ins, demonstrate…
