A Career As A Nurse Practitioner
ner is an advanced practice nurse that helps with all aspects of patient care. They diagnose, treat, and help prevent injuries and diseases. They may work in both inpatient and outpatient situations. They can work independently or as part of a treatment team. They conduct physicals, order tests and serve as a patient’s primary health care provider. Some nurse practitioners can also prescribe medications.

To be a nurse practitioner you need to go to college to get your bachelor’s degree and become and RN. Then you have to go back to school and get your master’s degree. You will have to go to school for five to seven years to become a nurse practitioner.

The tools needed for this job are a pacemaker analyzer, transcutaneous pacemaker, electrocardiography
