Just like it's important to keep the young population healthy, they believe it's important to help maintain a healthy lifestyle for older adults. As for someone who is majoring in Gerontology, they are being prepared to work with aging adults with their strengths and problems involving their gender, race, and ethnicity as well as providing services they may need.
