Nora spends lots of money on useless things and does not listen to her husband. Torvald always gave order to Nora, Torvald said, “Don’t disturb me. “Brought,” did you say? What! All that? Torvald changed his mood as soon as he read the second letter, “Nora. Nora! I must read it again. Yes, yes, it is so. I am saved! Nora, I am saved! ... You too, of course; we are both saved, both of us”(Ibsen 201). He was so excited that he had to yell out, “I am saved”. When Nora asked him “what about me”, he is like ehh you too, that is when Nora realized, Torvald only cared about himself all this time.
