Darkness and Light, two completely different concepts but both of which make up life as we know it. Have you ever wondered how some things seem too good to be true? But also some things seem too bad to seem real? That is the difference between darkness and light. In the story “A Good Man Is Hard To Find” , the grandma is blind to the darkness that is fixing to occur to her family but in that moment she chooses to see the light of what could come out of this situation, which would be her walking away with her family, but as the situation intensifies, the dark reality is slowing creeping in and granny is beginning to see what the realistic outcome of this dark situation is going to be. When Victor’s dad died, he had no way to afford to drive down and get back from Phoenix, it wasn’t until he reached out to an old friend who instantly knew what victor needed after hearing about his dad’s passing “through the wind”, without hesitating, Victor’s old friend Thomas agreed to loan him the rest of the money he needed for the trip down there, with on exception, he gets to attend the road trip with Victor. Victor being hesitant at first to accept his offer, later on agrees with Thomas and lets him ride along on the trip to Phoenix figuring he would just use his old friend for his money then never talk to him again. While that is kind of what happened, it is not the complete story, through this trip the two old friends were able to bond over the trip in ways they hadn’t been able to for years. When they arrive in Phoenix, all goes according to plan and they are able to collect his father's ashes and return to their native land like before and the two part ways and everything goes back to
