A Journey That Needs To Be Known
A jouenry to the unkown.A journey is an act of traveling from one place to another.A hero is a person, who is admired or, idealized forcourage , outstanding achievments,or noble qulites.Now let me introduce you to a Hero Journey. It is a fundemental peradigm of human experince that is frequently the basis for wrtiten stories,drama, and film.This comes from the mythologist Joseph Campbell.The stages and archetypes of the jpourny have been developed and appiled to film by Christopher Vogier.The writings of these men demonstrate that the Journey is helpful inunderstanding both fiction and realtiy.Thats why it is vaild today because it helps in real life.These are some of the Steps of the Hero Journy and each Stage …show more content…
THE REWARD. The hero takes possession of the treasure won by facing death. There may be celebration, but there is also danger of losing the treasure again.
10. THE ROAD BACK. About three-fourths of the way through the story, the hero is driven to complete the adventure, leaving the Special World to be sure the treasure is brought home. Often a chase scene signals the urgency and danger of the mission.
11. THE RESURRECTION. At the climax, the hero is severely tested once more on the threshold of home. He or she is purified by a last sacrifice, another moment of death and rebirth, but on a higher and more complete level. By the hero’s action, the polarities that were in conflict at the beginning are finally resolved.
12. RETURN WITH THE ELIXIR. The hero returns home or continues the journey, bearing some element of the treasure that has the power to transform the world as the hero has been transformed.

A Mentor an experienced and trusted adviser.This importssnt individual,who transmits encroargment,understandinh and widsom to the hero.This Charcter shows the Hero the right away .This person keeps the hero moving forward. Glinda the Good Witch is the Mentor in the Wizard of Oz.I also think the Lion , the Scarecrow ,and the Tin Woodman were here mentors too.They spupported Dorothy the entire journey. Threshold Guardians are characters who serve to challenge or obstruct the Hero's progress from one stage of the Journey to another. They stand at the gateways to new experiences; their role is to keep the unworthy from continuing on the Journey. The Hero must prove his or her worthiness in some way, often by defeating and killing the Threshold Guardian or by passing some test. The Wicked West of the East is the Threshold Guardain because when Dorothy Killed Her with the house her Journy
