Stephen King's On Writing “A Memoir of the Craft” is a book written and edited by the man himself Stephen King. Stephen King was born in Maine in 1947 and it was then, when a world-renowned writer was born. Unlike this book his work usually focuses on Horror as well as a little supernatural, science fiction, fantasy and more. Not being a horror book King strays from his origins to write a memoir and a teaching book all in one. On writing is a book containing scenes of King's life. The first half of the book he shares what has happened in his life to help him prosper to be a writer. From long dreadful hours of working as a janitor, laundress and gas attendant; to becoming a father, an english teacher and on to selling more than 350 million copies of his books.
