My friend took the top off of a stapler remover and made it into a ring that you could wear. All the students thought it was the coolest thing ever because they were about to put it around their fingers and poked their friends in the back by giving them a hug. I thought that was so much fun, and when my friend was not looking, I took the stapler ring away from him. The next day, I thought it would be funny to try what I did with my friends to a teacher. She did not stop crying for days after the decision was final to expel me, and I pretty much thought my life was over. Luckily, I have an amazing mom who made sure I got into no legal trouble, even though it cost her thousands of dollars to do that. My turn around was a slow and tedious process, but one that changed me for the better.
Having suffered the shame and embarrassment of being expelled, I continue to work harder than ever everyday to make sure that never happens again and that I am the best student I can be. I truly believe that it is good that I learned the lesson to think things through as early as I did. I feel like I would have done a lot more stupid things if I did not see the consequences of stupid
