I go in on a hard slide tackle and the other guy goes in hard too. We collide and my ankle takes and awkward landing. I missed the tournament the following weekend and the weekend after that. My ankle was so swollen I could barely fit it in my shoe. I went to the doctor 3 weeks after the injury had occurred. The Doctor tells me to get x-rays just in case to see if there are any fractures. I go back the following week to get x-rays to see there are no fractures. She tells me that I just have a really bad sprained ankle and tells me I cannot play for two months. All I can do is just ice it and soak it hot water and massage it. My mom tells me I should stop playing because my ankle is the part of my foot that supports my whole leg.
