The A.Q. Khan played a major role in the illicit nuclear trade business. In fact, Khan showed how successful terrorists could be if they played their cards correct. Despite being taken down, Khan’s business “roots” are still lingering out there.

How does the nation and international community stop or reduce the effects of the illicit nuclear trade?
This nation and the international community can reduce or stop the effects of the illicit nuclear trade. There are three ways that we can focus on to solve the problem. Unfortunately, these also happen to be easier said than done.
One of the major ways to do this is making universal export laws. The inconsistences of export laws in this world help terrorists easily transport and import illegal items into countries with weak laws. In these weak laws, it usually is the lack of prosecution that makes them an effective means for terrorists.
