A Quaker Book Of Wisdom Book Review

The book that has had the most influence on me is called, A Quaker Book of Wisdom, by Robert Lawrence Smith. In my freshman year I was enrolled in a class called the History of Peace. The book was an optional part of the reading list. I will admit I didn’t read it that year, but when I cleaned out my locker, it was sitting there in a stack of books and I felt compelled to read it. Robert Lawrence Smith was a former headmaster of Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C. What I enjoyed about the book was that it was not preachy or religious or even theoretical.
