A Reason to Live a Healthy Lifestyle
Why would you take unhealthy risks that will lead to death in the long run? People who advocate unhealthy food must change their lifestyle because of the risks that unhealthy food holds, long-lasting body damage, and the increasing relationship you should have with food that you consume on a daily basis. Consequently, these are the following items that I will consider the following paragraphs.
Children consume 12 percent of their calories from fast foods while 20 percent of all American meal is eaten in cars as of 2015 (Johnson 2015). McDonald’s is the leading fast food restaurants and the most popular because of their cheap deals going on every day. While the prices are cheap, health risks can take a toll on someone eating processed food every day. Processed food lasts longer compared to natural food with the help of chemicals within the food. “Nutritionists call it a blitzkrieg that perverts children’s eating habits and sets them on a path to obesity” (Barboza 9). In Contrast, children's eating habits are affected because of the budget of the family and the amount of support for a healthier lifestyle for these reasons that need to be followed. The risk of health disorders increases due to the economic instability of the family. It is proven that a lower class family while eating more fast food compared to a middle-class family. Unhealthy food is $550 cheaper per year compared to leading a healthy lifestyle with salads on a day to day basis (Polis 2013).
