A State Championship Versus Runner's Conscience Summary
In the story " A State Championship Versus Runner's Conscience" by John Hoyle, John Hoyle is like the Good Samaritan in the Bible parable because in the story " The Parable of the Good Samaritan" a Samaritan stopped and helped a guy that had been jumped after two guys had just walked right past him and not even acknowledged him. In line 7 it states " But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion on him and went to him and bound up his wound." In the passage " A State Championship Versus Runner's Conscience" a man stopped in the middle of his race and help another guy out that was injured and all the other runners just ran past them and did not help. They are both like the heroes in the story
