I met in Vanuatu last year, arranged for me to teach here in their Bible school. In many Pacific islands
(including Hawaii), visitors are welcomed with a floral lei put around their neck, but here they place a floral wreath on the head, so when I arrived the girls placed two floral wreaths on my head.

I’m ready to go wherever God wants me to go, and when I said “wherever” He sent me to
“wherever!”
The people here are hungry for more of God, and they are eager to hear the teaching of the
Word. That makes it all worthwhile. I want to go where people are hungry, and that’s where God sends me! Praise the Lord.
I know people are praying for me because the grace of God has been very strong, and I’m grateful! Even though in the natural, I could be miserably uncomfortable, because of the grace of God
I am quite content! It hasn’t bothered me terribly to be dripping with sweat when I teach or to feel continually very wet and sticky. It hasn’t bothered me to take showers in brown water. It hasn’t bothered me to walk through mud to class. It hasn’t bothered me to live with dirt and bugs. That’s truly grace!
The people, even though they might seem shy, smile freely when you smile at them. They are very warm and friendly. They are beautiful people.
