A Welding Career

Everyone plans on what career to take at a young age. You want a job that pays a lot and gives many hours to work. Some might be thinking of becoming a doctor, teacher, fireman. These careers are good examples of the many job opportunities that the world has to offer, but think far more than that. Ask yourself, what is mostly everything made of. Welding has a lot to do about how we live, and it has great opportunities to make you successful hard working human being. To become a welder, you first need to know what it is and what do they do. A welder is to “Operate a variety of special equipment to join metal parts together permanently, using heat and sometimes pressure.” (Welders and Welding Technicians, 1). Welders use a welding machine that
uses electrodes to joints metals together as one. Therefore, as a welder, you need to be cautious from getting an electrical shock.
If you payed attention to things you have, you will notice that a lot of things are welded together. Welders can build anything, they are “employed in manufacturing plants that produce fabricated metal products, transportation equipment, machinery and architectural and structural metals, Others also work for repair shops or construction companies that build bridges, buildings, and pipelines.” (Welders and Welding Technicians, 1). There is always something to weld. The world if full of welded parts, that the demand for welders is going to increase over the years.
