A Wrinkle In Time Summary
The settings for A Wrinkle in Time are the Murray house, Camazotz, a far away planet that is similar to earth but almost every person does everything in sync, and Ixchel , also a far away planet that has strange beasts living on it. The main character is Margaret Murray, nicknamed Meg. She is a young female who has mouse brown hair, glasses, and braces. She is polite to anyone who is nice to her. Over the course of the book she learns friendship, love, and to not judge people by how they look. In the beginning she thinks that she is ugly and awkward, but when she goes to Ixchel, a far away planet, she realizes that the beasts living their are extremely polite, but look ugly. She learns friendship by meeting Calvin, a boy who goes to Megs school, who helps Meg and her brother save her dad. Last, she learns love because the only way to stop the evil force controlling her brother is to love her brother. …show more content…
Whatsit, Mrs. Who, Mrs. Which, Danny, Sandy, and Fortinbras. Megs family, the Murrays, include her father, her mother, her youngest brother Charles Wallace, and her two twin brothers, Sandy and Danny, and their pet dog, Fortinbras. Calvin O'keefe is a boy who goes to school with Meg and becomes friends with Meg in the beginning of the book. Aunt beast lives on Ixchel, a far away planet, and she helps take care of meg when she is resting up before she takes on IT. Mrs. Who, Mrs. Which, and Mrs. Whatsit are friends. They help Meg, Calvin, and Charles travel through space to other planets far
