Thesis

An Early Childhood Educator can help a student with ADHD by doing three simple things. They can help make the classroom an easier learning environment, they can assist in keeping the student on track and of course by ensuring they have the best learning environment possible.
My three points
1. Helping make the classroom an easier learning environment.
2. Ensure the child has the tools they need to learn
3. The need for an ECE in working with students with developmental delays or disabilities
These are the 4 resources that I have read and plan to use in my resource paper

I am using this resource because it gave me great ideas of how an ECE or teacher can help assist a child’s learning if he/she suffers from any disability such as ADHD. Which helps me prove point number one and two.

Third resource
Rief, S. (2005). How to reach and teach children with ADD/ADHD. San Francisco, Calif.: Jossey-Bass.
This resource is my book resource. I am hoping to use it again for point number one and two. I am using this because I feel like it is a good reference even though it is from 2005. It still has very valuable information.

Forth resource
Teaching children with ADHD. (2010). International Schools Journal, [online] 12(2), p.37. Available at: http://go.galegroup.com.dproxy.library.dc-uoit.ca/ps/i.do?p=AONE&u=ko_acd_dc&id=GALE|A368580009&v=2.1&it=r&sid=summon&userGroup=ko_acd_dc&authCount=1 [Accessed 28 Oct. 2015].
I am hoping to use this journal reference to get some extra facts on teaching children with ADHD and also to gather more information about the disorder. This will be a good resource because it has been just over five years since it was published therefor it has very valuable
