1. Company/Business Overview
For this question or set of questions I want to find out about his business history and position to date. I want the interviewee to describe his business and business idea. This is to get a general overview of his studio and how it runs. In particular I would like the studio owner to explain his aims and objectives and any eventual aspirations. Also I would like to find out how the studio owners skills relate to the business and the people involved. This would give me an idea of past experience both in recording, business and music in general and how important that experience was for starting a studio. I would also like a description of the products and or services the studio offers i.e. recording, mix, mastering, locational recording, rehearsal room hire, composition for media, sound design etc. Many small studios are going to vary in what they do, so it will be interesting to find out what services are most popular and effective in a business …show more content…
