Aaron Doran Biography Aaron Brian Doran Cogan is an Irish professional footballer “Soccer player” who currently plays as a winger for Scottish Premier League club Inverness Caledonian Thistle. He was born on May 13, 1991 in Charleville, Republic of Ireland. He signed his first professional contract with Blackburn Rovers in May 2008. He was involved in 2008-2009 pre-season matches against Macclesfield Town and NAC Breda. He was given the squad number 39 by Rovers manager Paul Ince in September2008. And his first team debut as a substitute for Aaron Mokoena against Liverpool on April 11, 2009. On 5 October 2009 he was signed by League One club MK Dons on a month's loan deal. Having played two games for them, Doran said he was keen to stay at the club for another month. And on January 25, 2011, Doran was signed by Inverness Caledonian Thistle for the final six months of the 2010-2011 SPL season. Aaron Doran was given the squad number 17. On July 13, 2011, Aaron Doran agreed to a deal to join the team permanently. On December 28, he got injured in a home game against Hibs, playing his first match since his injury. After the match, Doran would not play again resulting in him ruled out most of the season. The following season, Doran set up a goal for Nick Ross, an English radio and television presenter, in the opening game of the season in a 2-2 draw against St. Mirren. Two months later on October 5, 2012, he scored his first goal of the season in a 3-1 win over Ross Country and made a double assist for Billy McKay, an English- born Northern Irish footballer (soccer player) and Garry Warren, an English child actor in 1967-1973 but now works at a fashion company, in a 4-1 win over Dundee the next game.
